Erica’s healthcare career began over a decade ago in geriatrics as a CNA at the Whispering Heights long term care facility. Throughout her undergrad and graduate nursing schooling at USD and Creighton University, she worked in cardiology (heart care), NICU (intensive infant care), same-day surgery in cardiac and vascular procedures, family practice, diabetes specialty care, thyroid specialty care, pediatric specialty care, and OB/GYN, clocking over 1,200 clinical hours with all age groups – preemies through 100 year olds.
