The Radiology and Imaging Team at Hegg Health Center are focused on patient care when using our state-of-the art equipment designed to detect, diagnose, and treat diverse health conditions for you and your loved ones. Safety is priority as we expertly use the lowest effective dose to limit radiation exposure while obtaining results. Our pediatric patients receive child-appropriate doses of radiation.

Provided in-house:

  • X-ray: utilize invisible electromagnetic energy beams to generate images of bones and internal organ.
  • CT: Computed Tomography (CT) is an advanced medical imaging technique used to capture highly detailed internal images of the body’s structures.
  • Dexa scan: Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry, or DEXA, is an imaging test used to measures bone mineral density as well as body composition such as body fat and muscle mass. TIt can be used to shoe detailed images of the bones and soft tissues so that healthcare providers can diagnose conditions or asses bone health.
  • Mammography: A Mammogram can be used to examine breast tissue for the early detection of cancer and other breast disease.Mammograpy’s can detect breast cancers, benign tumors, and cysts before they can be detected by palpation.
  • MRI: A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) use strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate images of soft tissues such as organs and muscles that don’t show up on X-rays.
  • Nuclear Medicine: A medical specialty that uses radioactive tracers to assess bodily functions as well as diagnosing and treating disease.
  • Stroke screenings
  • Diagnostic imaging: describes various techniques of viewing the inside of the body to help figure out the cause of an illness or injury and confirm a diagnosis.
  • Carotid Duplexes: Uses sound waves to bounces off of the blood vessels in your neck to create images and assess vascular blockages or narrowing in the carotid arteries and its branches.
