Sleep Services

Sleeping poorly can result in poor health. High blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, strokes, diabetes, mood swings and even death can result from sleep issues. Your relationships, work and personal life can all be affected by the amount and quality of sleep your body gets each night. If you’ve struggled sleeping, schedule an appointment with your provider to discuss your concerns: they may refer you to a comprehensive sleep study.

Hegg Health Center offers an ACHC-accreditated sleep center to rule out suspected sleep apnea problems. Tests may reveal a diagnosis that allows you to be treated in one visit. Once completed, a board-certified sleep physician will review your test and make recommendations back to your referring provider. By receiving this care, you can avoid compromising your health and return to a restful state of mind.

Sleep Study Instructions

Paper and demonstrational instructions will be given to you by the outpatient nurse at your scheduled appointment. The sleep study unit must be returned by 10:00 a.m. to the Outpatient Services department the following business day unless other arrangements have been made.

Insurance/Payment Concerns

We will obtain a prior-authorization from your insurance if needed. Hegg Health Center will bill you for performing your study. There will be a second bill for the professional fee of reading your study. Self-pay patients will be asked for a down payment at time of service.
