March 11, 2002: Whispering Heights is asking for community assistance in protecting our elderly who call our facility home. Based on current information regarding Influenza, COVID-19, the common cold and stomach flu type symptoms, we feel that it is in the best interest of our residents to restrict all non-essential visitors, activities, and volunteers. We are asking that only immediate family visit at this time and a screening will occur to ensure their health. This is simply precautionary as a protection to our residents and also to our staff that need to be well to care for them. We will make every effort to assist you in communicating with your loved one via phone or other forms of communication as available. We ask anyone who has traveled in the past 14 days to an area specified by the Centers of Disease Control(CDC) as a high risk area to refrain from entering the building. If you have any concerns about this temporary restriction, please feel free to contact the facility at 712-476-8200. Thank you for helping us protect the health of our residents.
Thank you for helping us keep our residents safe!
