Our Hegg Occupational Health and Wellness Team is a specialized team that delivers health and safety programs and services to area workers, worker populations, and community groups. We focus on the promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related environmental hazards.
Our team is made up of skilled Registered Nurses. All of our nurses are certified in Drug and Alcohol testing as well as DOT certified. DOT certification means that all of our nurses have gone through the training and certification needed to be recognized by the Department of Transportation as a medical professional who can perform the necessary medical exam for those who drive CMVs, busses, and more. We also have two nurses who are certified in Spirometry, which is a breathing test. Another one of our team members is certified in Ergonomics, which is the study of people’s efficiency in their work environment.
Our Occupational Health Department offers many different services that can benefit your business. Some of the main programs and services we offer include pulmonary function testing, wellness screens and vaccinations, breath alcohol and drug testing, hearing tests, immunizations, CPR and first aid training, health promotions and programs, and ergonomic assessment and evaluations. Our Occupational Health department can also perform consolations for injuries and help with your companies drug-free and anti-smoking policies.
Highlights:
Pulmonary Function Testing: With a Spirometer on hand, we are ready to help you with your pulmonary function testing needs.
Wellness Screens & Vaccines: We offer full wellness panels, with a heart risk assessment with cholesterol/lipid profile. We also offer flu vaccinations beginning in October each year.
Breath Alcohol and Drug Testing: We have a drug and breath alcohol technician on call 24 hours a day for your post-accident testing needs. We can also do non-DOT and DOT random pulls for companies that have a random policy in place.
Hearing Test: We will coordinate your hearing testing on-site.
Immunizations: We offer Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus, and Flu immunizations.
Training: Our experiences occupational health nurses can come to your site to perform blood borne pathogen and first aid/CPR training for your team.
Pre-employment Requirements: For your pre-employment needs we offer health assessments, drug testing, immunizations, and more.
Workers Compensation: Our nurses work with doctors to assist with work comp needs.
